Some more information is needed: What are you using? Ae CS6, CC or..? What RAM is your machine running on? Also have you tried other formats (H264, Wav, etc)? Do you still get the same result?

As Jamboth said ,more information about your machine is needed.
Rendering a HD 1080 need a lot of Ram .
Try 960x540 or or HD 720 and let us know if results are the same .

got 8k yea soon going to get the 32 ,but does good with other formats, 3.9 amd everything is over clock and runs great even got it cooling at 98 deg's asrock extreme raptor h/d ati 7xxhd xfx video
yea with other formats there good im just having problems with playing they in quicktime.
not a good video at all even if i use another program to convert it to .mov it still bad yea even done the 720 hd now i haven't done the h264 but wave took to much room as did doing a straight AVI. which is what i like editing anyway. what i got and doing is this if you want to read .

im taking a 1080 video, cutting out a 8 sec cut/clip right. then i put it into after effects now i want to keep the singer and sound together but i want to take out the actor on the chair and replace them with another actor ( yea green screen)i probably do it the hard way cause ive been on it for a while when i get a chance one clone stamp em out then the other is a side over filter in premium then there's the frame by frame and doing each one i don't like the outlook of it . so any ideas on that would be appreciated.
so thats it yea im trying to make this short so kinda read between the lines ok,
